Spanish Fork River Trail

Construction of new portions of the paved multi-use trail in Utah County connected existing segments of the trail to provide more than 6 miles of walking and biking options through open farm land. RB&G was retained by Spanish Fork City to provide CEM services for this 10-foot wide trail along the Spanish Fork River bank. The project scope included laying down asphalt pavement (with some concrete segments), various connecting concrete sidewalks, installation of a 105 ft by 12 ft prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge, railing, some low height landscaping walls to limit cuts/fill slopes with associated grading/drainage, riprap, and re-vegetative/erosion protection work. Other tasks included signing and striping, along with limited landscaping elements and fencing. Much of this work was challenging from an access standpoint requiring concerted coordination efforts.

Services: construction engineering, testing and inspection, traffic control monitoring, DBE/WBE and labor compliance, materials acceptance, documentation, project accounting, ProjectWise, and partnering/project meetings.
